Collectors were invited to rip through special packs for an array of highly boosted Cards that featured the bulk of the 2021 World Series Rosters across White, Green, Blue, Red & Gold variants. In honor of this upcoming week's World Series Base Set release, we've decided to highlight a special Signature Award Card from last year's collection featuring Yordan Alvarez! Collectors who were able to obtain all 52 Blue World Series Cards were able to earn this Signature Card! While Alvarez & the Astros ultimately fell to the Atlanta Braves last season, they responded with an unbelievably successful 2022 campaign which has brought them back to the big game where they will take on the Philadelphia Phillies beginning this Friday October 28th! <align=center> 📲<b><u>This Day in Baseball!</b></u><br /> <br /> 🗞 October 24th, 1963: Sandy Koufax is the unanimous winner of the Cy Young Award.<br /> <br /> 🗞 October 24th, 1987: Kent Hrbek's grand slam highlighted a 15-hit barrage as the Minnesota Twins pounded the St. Louis Cardinals 11-5 at the Metrodome to force the World Series to a seventh game.<br /> <br /> 🗞 October 24th, 1994: Atlanta's Greg Maddux became the first pitcher to win three straight Cy Young Awards, unanimously sweeping the NL honor.
