BUNT 22's February 28th Baseball Collectors' Digest!

<align=center>🎉 <b><u>Spring Training Begins!</b></u><br /> <br /> <align=left> Spring Training has officially begun for the 2023 MLB Season! There's nothing quite like the excitement of knowing that the upcoming MLB Season is upon us. 2022 was an incredible year to follow, filled with records set, records broken, impactful rookie debuts, meaningful veteran goodbyes & so much more. Spring Training gives us fans the first opportunity to see our favorite players back in action, new players debut with new teams, young rookies & prospects debuting but this year it also offers the ability to see new rule changes in action. For the 2023 Season, the game will undoubtedly feel different, but we remain optimistic that these changes can have a positive impact on the game! As a reminder:<br /> <br /> 1. A pitch clock is now in place in the majors. Pitchers must begin their deliveries within 15 seconds when the bases are empty and within 20 seconds when one or bases are occupied. As well, the batter must be in the box and "alert" to the pitcher with at least eight seconds remaining on the pitch clock. Pitchers who violate will be charged a ball, and batters who run afoul will be docked a strike. <br /> <br /> 2. Pitchers are allowed to "disengage" from the rubber just twice during each plate appearance, whether to step off or to make a pickoff throw. That tally resets if one or more runners advance during the plate appearance in question. Pitchers may make a third pick off attempt during a PA, but the runner will advance automatically if he's not picked off on that third attempt. <br /> <br /> 3. First, second & third base bags are now 18 square inches instead of 15. That makes for a bigger "target" for the baserunner, and it also shortens the distance between the bases. The distance between home and first and third and home is now reduced by three inches, and the distance between first and second and second and third is now 4.5 inches shorter. <br /> <br /> 4. Infield "overshifts" are now banned. Teams must have four fielders within the infield boundary whenever the pitcher is on the rubber, with two fielders stationed on either side of the second-base bag at the time of the pitch. Teams are still allowed to bring an outfielder in, either onto the infield or into the shallow outfield. They are not, however, permitted to use four outfielders. <br /> <br /> There have been a number of infractions in Spring Training as players acclimate to the new league rules, however most reports have been positive thus far. <br /> <br /> Check out the link below for a recap on the first few notable events from Spring Training 2023!

<align=center> 📲<b><u>BUNT Card of the Week!</b></u><br /> <br /> 📆 This week's featured Card of the Week is from our "Impact Performers" Collection, arriving in BUNT on Wednesday March 1st, 2023 at 1:00 PM ET & features one of 2022's most impactful players in Aaron Judge! The American League MVP winner made quite the impact on his team, helping them reach the American League Championship Series & delivering a franchise/league record of 62 home runs over the course of the Season. With his 62nd home run hit, Judge cemented his name into the record book by breaking the American League and New York Yankees single-season home run record established by Roger Maris in 1961. It's hard to overstate the impact this chase had on the league at-large. Broadcasts from around the league would stitch in Yankees games when Judge was at-bat. The anticipation of a broken home run record was palpable in the Bronx, but it truly took the league by storm by the year's end when Judge was finally able to break the fateful record held for so long by Yankees great Roger Maris.
